I read a few reviews before coming here and a funny one always stuck with me where a reviewer said they immediately fell in love with their sandwich maker because of how delicious it was. And here I am, completely head over heels with the handsome bearded fellow who formed this delicious monstrosity of a sandwich. It is obvious how much pride they take in their food and have sought to go the extra step with every ingredient to make these among the best sandwiches you've ever had. Everything here is great but the sandwich specials are often my go-to. The small assortment of premade food and prepared meats is also great, I usually end up leaving with much more than I planned on.

I used to live near the shop on Vaughn Street in the West End and loved to grab a sammy there and take it to the Prom on a warm day. I was so happy when I realized the original shop is on Veranda near my new apartment. They make REAL Italians and all of the other food I've tried from this business has always been top quality. Never disappointed and the prices are totally legit for the quality and service I always receive. Excited to go back to the Veranda shop many more times. The diner is great, too! Happy to give these folks my business, especially in these times. Bring cash to tip if you pay with a card!

Delicious neighborhood deli, big on freshness and flavor, with strong connections to local farms and purveyors! Happened upon this delightful deli ... the veal meatball with sauce, mozzarella and a flavorful pepper relish was out of this world! Also selling meats and sausages! Don't miss this gem!
