With my brother visiting from out of town, we were lucky to get a table as a walk-in on Saturday night and had no idea what to expect. The atmosphere was incredible, the cocktails were as good as you’ll have anywhere, the staff whilst obviously busy, were fantastic. As someone who now lives around the corner, I will definitely be going back and taking any friends and family visiting from out of town there. Super impressed.

Oh my gosh. Totally didn’t expect this place! I think the Pav cocktail would have to be one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had in my life! I love the native Australian theme. So many amazing cocktails to try, all professionally made. Looks like a small little bottle shop until you see the bar upstairs sign and it’s a huge classy bar with DJ and all. Very impressed.

Uber cool “hidden” cocktail bar. Very cool and trendy space that’s light, bright and Stylish. Service is on-point. All the food and drinks have an indigenous flavour twist. The cocktail menu is superb- sophisticated, intriguing and delicious. These are real proper crafted drinks that are expertly created and perfectly presented. I love gin and citrus so the Botanique drew my attention, and it did not disappoint- it was sublime! Bitter lemon at the bottom with a layer of soft egg meringue on top - the two layers blended like a symphony as you sip it. My partner had the Fig Jam - it’s not too sweet and is perfectly balanced ; it tasted just like fresh figs - heavenly! You can book online ahead of time. Highly recommended.

On Saturday night 7 of my friends and I attended this cocktail bar to relax and have a nice drink out from the cold, everything started off well with the wait staff kindly seating us by the bar until a table became available, the night very quickly made a turn for the worse by what appeared to be the manager, this rude woman constantly made us feel unwelcome, belittled us and treated us like garbage on multiple occasions when ever she approached us and spoke to us, even at one point yelling at us to move and that we were in her way. At the end of the night as we were walking out I decided to let the stuff member at the door know what happened all night, he mentioned he was new and there was nothing he could do about it, then she walked into the conversation and I had the opportunity to express to this woman how awful she has been treating customers all night, to what she responded that she was not being rude, instead she was just sick, she was loosing her voice and that she wasn’t meant to be there working that night. I wasn’t sure what to say at first as her response was shocking trying to justify such a terrible behaviour to a customer instead of apologising. All I have to say to the management of this bar is: 1. Why is someone that sick working and serving customers? Clearly didn’t learn anything in the last two years. 2.Your stuff need to learn true customer service and how to treat people in a polite manner no matter their personal situation, that is called professionalism. 3. You have just lost 7 customers that will never go back and pay money to be treated like the worst people, I rather stay at home. Do not recommend this place at all, there are hundreds of bars in Melbourne that are way better than this one where you can spend a fun and peaceful night out and be treated with respect.

Absolutely iconic bar. Beautiful styled atmosphere, attentive service. The drinks all have quirky names with equally quirky ingredients that combine a range of unique aussie fruits and flavours. The Galah is a sweet and fruity cocktail with roasted marshmallow on top, a must have! The kangaroo skewers, cucumber granita oysters and barramundi ceviche were all super fresh and tasty. Can’t wait to come here for a date!

Galah is a stylish bar which has been finished superbly - which is a rare. The cocktails were on point. Their 'Feed me' menu is tasty. If I lived closer I would become a regular, but alas that is not the case. The venue itself is an awesome space. Its acoustics is one of the best that I have experienced in a bar - music and people talking don't get muddled in to a loud mess. The staff are super friendly. There's also a bottle shop on entry to the venue! I recommend.
