Silom Thai Melbourne

Ordered some takeaway to pick up last Saturday night. Although the restaurant was empty our order took close to 45 minutes as opposed to the 20 minutes they said on the phone. The Yellow Curry was nice, the Rice was very cluggy, Chicken Satay sticks were dry and the Roti bread was hard and seemed stale. I must say the girl in the restaurant was lovely however I could hear an Australian man (I think the owner) yelling and swearing at the staff out the back. I don't recommend this restaurant.

Ordered fried rice and prawn Tom yum soup via Menulog. Fried rice Asked for it to be spicy but wasn't. Peas and corn were stale and tasted like cardboard. Very stingy with the BBQ pork and they were chopped so small they were almost mince. The rice itself was oily, grainy, tasteless and bland. Tom yum soup 3 miserable prawns, 2 mushrooms and a few pieces of chopped carrots, ingredients to make a miserable soup. It was more sweet than sweet and spicy as it should be. Obviously not taking pride in what they cook. 1 star rating is being very generous. Would never recommend it or order again. Utter waste of $25.

We ordered via eat now, waited over an hour for our delivery and they got it wrong. We called the restaurant, they didn't want to hear it, the manager hung up on us. We called back but the manager was now 'busy'. We ended up having to go down there ourselves to pick up what they forgot; conveniently, the manager was still 'busy' and unable to talk to us. They were not in any way willing to cooperate and fix their errors; they were incompetent, disrespectful and have absolutely no standards when it comes to customer service.
