A bit pricey for what you get and not an extensive menu really. The food was goid quality, but had to send an uncooked sausage back to the kitchen. The Donkeys steal the show.

Lovely place with nice food and friendly service. I ordered extra black pudding and thought the portion a bit miserable for the price, but my wife ordered extra mushrooms and got loads. We took out a couple of scones - they're huge!

Just had a lovely lunch with my in-laws and they too were very impressed, lovely setting, loads of parking and really reasonable prices.

Absolutely love this farm and coffee shop / restaurant in the countryside. It's quiet with some amazing produce in the shop and great food in the eating area, great service and loads of seating.
The toilet facilties are clean and there is generally sufficient parking.
Update. We went again this weekend and my wife had the "Saswick Lamb Hotpot" where she found the taste not very nice to the point that she left it almost completely uneaten. When the cashier asked it everything was OK, i mentioned my wife's disappointment with the meal - "oh shame" was the reply! Not quite what I was expecting and we eat here on a regular basis and have not had an experience like this before.

Man with a Van + doggy called in for Friday pie day lunch.
Dropping a delivery locally and farm shop was recommended.
Bought a quiche instead of the pie and wasn't disappointed.
Wish I was local as I'd be getting a few more pies 😀
