Very delicious fish and chips... shame that they have to close down until around January because of COVID's business struggles!

You can decide the best in your area for most places by eating around until you find your favourite, friargate chippy is one of the very few places where you know immediately you've found one of, if not the best in the north west.

The customer service/employees were amazing and helped us choose a vegetarian options for my friend. The food was amazing :) and they serve traditional english chips, japanese, korean and chinese dishes which are amazing. They have bubble/boba tea. Was very excited to go there and I'm sure I'll return when I'm in the area next time. Thank you for the help :) plus, look at this food. It's gorgeous. Don't normally take pictures of food but damn. This is pretty.

Always love it, and my girlfriend prefers the bibimbap both in taste and portion compared to 'the other place' in Preston that makes Bibimbap 😂😂

went there last night whilst in town had a cheese and onion pie & chips which were good havnt tried there fish and chips yet but recommended when down Friargate ..clean too

Best food in town! They do everything from amazing korean food, to japanese food, chinese and british chip shop food, havent found an area to fault, owners so friendly, and made me feel welcome since i started uni, if your going to try anything id recommend there spicy salt and pepper chips and thier awesome bubble teas!

As well as being an amazing chippy, also doubles as the best chinese and Korean place I’ve ever been to!
Staff are always friendly and polite, food is amazing, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection.

Best chippy ever fish is fresh and crispy. The spicy salt and pepper boxes are awesome. Been coming here since september never let me down. Just wish they deliver.

Was lovely service n lively fish n chips. Normally have seen restros serving 2 fishes but they served just one. Otherwise the taste is good fresh
