Lea Gate

Although the hotel could do with a lick of paint I found it clean and comfortable, the room was very quiet so good night's sleep. The shower could have done with a bit more pressure but was adequate. The greeting by the receptionist was very welcoming and every time I saw her she was bubbly and smiling. The breakfasts were very good. I will stay here again.

We've been going to Greene King at Leagate Preston for years. It became our family restaurant 🍴 we go at least once a week. Never had any issues with the quality of food. Staff always very friendly and helpful. It's great to have the menu changed just frequent enough but not too dramatic each time. So we always have the food we each like to order. Most importantly the prices are very reasonable and the business still shows appreciation for emergency service staff by giving Bluelight discounts. All in all we are so pleased we have Leagate just the down the road from us.

New chef @lea Gate, and you can tell. We go out every week, and it was mediocre at best, but this week was definitely different. Before asking the manager the question, I knew the answer: " excuse me, do you have a new chef?" Answer: "yes we do!" The meal was cooked to perfection, rarely do I get a steak cooked exactly the way I like it, unless I cook it myself. It was busier than usual which obviously says something about the change in quality. No complaints, at all. Just hope it lasts.
