Very well preserved hall. It used to be a museum with more rooms to visit. Now entry to the hall is free however only a handful rooms available to visit including Great Hall and former chapel. Beautiful place and surroundings.

I absolutely love samlesbury hall, been here for nearly 15 years, for nearly 4 years I have lived in a lovely cottage in our courtyard, it’s heavenly. We do not charge an entrance fee, you are free to wander around from room to room. We have our lovely heritage cafe, the food is to die for, Dotties wafflery selling everything sweet all homemade, we also have a selection of events throughout the year. Our dog show , May Day bank holiday is one of my fave days along with our yearly Xmas market which is in November. Highly recommend a visit for everyone.

Really nice place with a lovely play area for kids. It wasn't too busy either. Only small complaint would be that the food is quite expensive for what it is - £9.50 for a jacket potato with beans and cheese. However it is free to get in so food is the only thing you'll spend money on. Would recommend :)

Just attended my nieces wedding breakfast at Salmesbury Hall. The event was beautiful well organised, even the weather held up nicely. The grounds are amazingly beautiful. We all had a wonderful day and evening together with both families. I would highly recommend if you’re thinking about selecting a wedding venue.

This is a very nice place to visit. It is free to enter, has a good café. It is child friendly, full of history and has good parking. You can also have your Wedding there! Well worth a visit.👍

This is not just a hotel. It is a grade 1 listed building with an interesting history. Parking is free, entry is free (although a donation can be made), Coffee shop with waffle House, restaurant, and lovely grounds. There are regular first-class tours, the one we went on lasted an hour and was free. The guide is a well-known and respected figure in the area.

Arrived expecting to see a farmers market as advertised on the net only to find that this has stopped 3 years ago! However the website had been asked to remove this but it still gives misleading information. We decided to stay and had a look round the grounds and had a coffee in one of the cafes there, then had a wander round the beautiful Hall , with an excellent historical narrative from Simon. That made up for the initial disappointment, well worth the visit.
