Not a bad place. The food was good. Visited on Monday. Myself and my husband had the plant based chicken. I have to be honest the plant chicken wasn't great, we use vivera brand at home which is much better. The other stuff was fine and my mum enjoyed the meats. Fairly inexpensive mid week too.

Great carvery with an excellent selection of veg. Service was good. Could not find fault tables were a little cluttered from the previous users. Could probably do with being faster at clearing up and turn the table for the next customers

Great food and great staff... especially Ruby who couldn't have done more for us! Dining out with a child with additional needs can be difficult and stressful but Ruby saw we needed help and looked after us amazingly for our whole visit. Thank you Ruby! Xx

Carvery is always good here, but they had hardly any veg and I like a mix. Had to ask for gravy as that had run out to. That said the pork and beef I had was cooked perfectly and there was a good selection of meat. Did not expect it to be as busy as 6.45pm, but it was the busiest I have seen it. This is my favourite place for roast potatoes and they were perfect

We enjoyed the carvery so much last week, we went again this week. Both times, the food was great and the staff were so helpful. Laura went out of her way to help my elderly mum and dad enjoy their meal. When she overheard my dad say he had forgotten gravy and cranberry sauce, she came over and said she'd get it for them and bring it to the table. Today, Emily was really helpful and patient, guiding me through the app and explaining the different offers. Thank you again. See you soon :)

Food is lovely here, came out hot as well, cannot fault them for that. It's a nice cosy pub, we visited on a Monday dinner time, there were plenty of . It was a nice relaxed place to be. Staff where friendly and helpful. I cannot fault them, I will be going back again.

Came here with my partner for a pub lunch. Couldn't fault anything it was the best meal I had in ages staff where all smiles and even sat for 5 mins to chat which I think is really good especially in a busy place like this. I highly recommend this place to anyone will definitely be visiting very soon. The manager there is doing an outstanding job and all staff should be proud of themselves

Superb carvery!
Got an absolute pile of roast beef joint on my plate and it was cooked to perfection. We come regular and they're always welcoming.
It's rare to see staff who LOOK like they enjoy their job but it actually makes a much more pleasant dining experience.

My sister and I took our elderly parents to the Farmers Arms at Whitestake for a carvery. They are quite slow and fussy eaters so we were very pleased that the polished off a full carvery and ice cream sundaes to follow. The staff were really friendly and helpful. A big thank you to Laura for her patience and kindness, nothing was too much trouble. The food was lovely and the atmosphere chilled. A thoroughly pleasant experience. Thank you xx

Went for the midweek carvery and was pleasantly surprised. Simple, but decent spread for the price. I also liked that there was a small option.
The only negative was that the place itself is dropping to bits. All the paint is flaking off the exterior, the window frames are crumbling, some of the furniture is incredibly shabby and stained. It just took the edge off a bit.
I would certainly consider going again, but would really love to see some money spent on the place.
