The Eagle

In a moment of profound personal adversity, I found myself grappling with the loss of a dear friend, beset by an overwhelming sense of isolation. In response to this emotional turmoil, I sought solace at the Eagle, a place I had not frequented for a full year. My intention was to sit in solitude, partaking in a solitary drink. It was during this visit that the staff members at the establishment extended a warm and inclusive reception, a gesture that held particular significance given my status as the sole individual of African descent in attendance. I commend the attentiveness of these dedicated employees, who went the extra mile to ensure my well-being and comfort. Their commitment to maintaining a vigilant eye on the welfare of their patrons left a profound impression on me, and I wish to express my gratitude for the exceptional service they provided. I went here with my wife and five 10 year old boys for my son's birthday. We had been to Blackpool for the day and were looking for a nice pub to stop at on the way home. The service was excellent and everyone was happy to accommodated the children and birthday requirements without any issues. We had a great time, the food was better than expected and was enjoyed by everyone. The place was clean and had a friendly atmosphere with lots of families and groups enjoying the day. I would definitely recommend this to others and am looking forward to visiting again.

Came here randomly on the way home. Place itself is gorgeous both outside and in. Love the huge beer garden looking over the fields with a couple of cute outside booths for 4 people. Staff were friendly if not very chatty. Food was nice and my only complaint here was that the menu itself didn't have a big enough variety to choose from.

What a great pub! The food choice was great, and the decor and space both inside and out was fantastic. But our night was made by the amazing service and hospitality we received and most especially by Aga. She was fantastic, very professional and such a happy lovely way about her. It was a pleasure for our family of 7 to be there with her.
