Degani Bakery Cafe

As far a coffee goes, Melbourne is known to be the center of the universe. Hell - the center of the Multiverse for the best coffee. This is why I find it hard to enjoy a good cuppa-joe. But the Northland Deganis manages to deliver everytime. I would have taken photos of the cakes, but there were none left. But we had a good time there.

My daughter was taking my elderly mother out for lunch and chose Degani Northland, (1st March, approximately 12.50pm). When they arrived, my daughter chose a more appropriate chair that had a back on it for my mother to sit on. A very rude and inconsiderate lady with no empathy with short light brown hair(maybe with an accent) said to my daughter that she could not use that chair. My daughter explained it was for her elderly nan that needed support for her back. This lady still would not let her use the chair. My daughter was taken back with the rude attitude and left your cafe immediately.

The worst customer service! Not sure if someone had started their day on a bad foot but the staff attitude was VERY bad. The attitude seems to be coming down from the owners. No smiles just grumpy faces. Management should think about undertaking some serious customer service skills training and teach their staff how to be polite and treat your staff with respect. I would not be going back there ever again!!!!!
