Prime location, famous, and a vintage feel. The seating arrangement, furniture, Hut like roof, service, Hindi music, food, and way drinks are served took me back in time. The rustic and nostalgic feel. 650 ml Beer bottle served with free starters. Food is North Indian and kebabs. Matka kebab is special. I ordered chicken matka kebab and it taste good as chicken pieces were tender and normal spicey. Good service. All indoor seating but was ideal for drinking, there are separate family section. not noisy.

Loved the atmosphere there. The lights, the furniture, the antique accessories. Everything was just too beautiful. Especially the cleanliness and hygiene is remarkable. Sanitary Pads were kept in the women's washroom which many restaurants don't even care about. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is searching for good food and atmosphere

Sarangi is a good option in Camp area for drinks and food. Although they don't have pitcher and tower options for beer, they do have the regular-sized bottles. This restaurant dates back to 1987 and is located opposite to the Victory Theatre. Everything, starting from the decor of the sitting area, the open aquarium to the staff uniforms gives the traditional Indian vibes here. Thankfully there's no music, so you can socialize your hearts out. We had beers and for starters ordered the non-veg platter and paneer. Egg curry with jeera rice, rotis and chicken biryani were all tasty. Service was prompt and the staff generously obliged to our repeats on complimentary snacks.

Good Restaurant and easily accessible from main road. The speciality is Biryani. You will enjoy the rice quality in veg or nonveg Biryani. Also you get liquor in same place. Generally afternoon are quiet hours at this place. There is a big screen where one can enjoy cricket match and other sports. Sarangi is one of the old restaurants in Pune and located opposite to Victory theatre in East Street.I visited Sarangi Restaurant yesterday for a first time. I would like to recommend them for there quality, hygienic and pocket friend food. The overall ambiance and the food taste was very good and it fulfills all your need as they have a huge spread of menu.

It is best place, interior is oldest. Vintage look, fountain at the center gives coolest vibes and feels so 😌 relax. Food is awesome, service is good. Best dish to try : Chicken kabab tokri, its the best starter i ever had in my life. Ghost Is best in main course, with nan or roti. 5 star rating for the ambitious and peaceful happy eating.

The ambience in the main part of the restaurant is really unique, set off especially by the dark wood, the castle-like stone, the lighting, and the raised central area. My late lunch of sauteed vegetables was outstanding, done to my special order of using olive oil rather than refined. The lime water, though, was just average. Also appreciated: the excellent service, the low-key music allowing conversations to be heard, and the lovely clean rest room. I definitely think this place should have a higher rating than its current 3.9.

It felt like a time travel machine. The spacious interior took us a decades back and the music added to it. The food was just as good if not better. The palak lasooni dal was unique. The portion sizes were big. Small gestures like when the waiter covered the sabzi after serving is when we realised why the place had stood strong for so long. If you are in Camp do try the place out.
