Hotel Solkadi Malvani Restaurant

I recently had the pleasure of dining at "Solkadi", and I must say it was an absolute delight from start to finish. The warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for a memorable evening, and the culinary journey that followed was nothing short of exceptional. We were welcomed with a refreshing glass of Solkadhi, a unique and delightful appetizer that instantly set a positive tone for the meal. The perfect balance of flavors in this traditional welcome drink was a wonderful introduction to what turned out to be a culinary adventure. For our main course, we indulged in a trio of dishes - Pomphret fry, Kolambi Masala, and Chicken Biryani. Each dish was a testament to the chef's skill and dedication to delivering a top-notch dining experience. The Pomphret fry was expertly prepared, with a crispy exterior giving way to tender and flavorful fish. The Kolambi Masala was a true highlight, showcasing the freshness of the prawns and the aromatic blend of spices that elevated the dish to a whole new level. The Chicken Biryani was a masterpiece in itself, served with the delectable "tambada, pandhara rassa." The biryani was fragrant, with perfectly cooked rice and succulent pieces of chicken. The accompanying rich and flavorful gravies added an extra layer of indulgence to an already outstanding dish.

Really nice & tasty food…my mom & dad are frequent visitors…. Bt, today we all 5 of us went their to have dinner.Owners are very friendly & welcoming.Most importantly fish they served was very fresh. Guys, really everyone should go to this restaurant & try their fish preparations. Cheers to Solkadi Restaurant… all the best. Looking forwrd to visit once again soon.

Solkadhi was my goto option for nonveg in Pune. Situated in Sadashiv Peth area, is good for sea food and konkani chicken curry. Biryani they serve is also very good in pot. Off lately in my visit I was served stale chicken which is against their reputation may because I visited early morning at 11:30 PM. Rest do opt for Tandul Bhakri.
