I used Pune airport for a domestic flight. Check in and security was quick and easy. The domestic departure lounge had some cafes and shops, but they were limited and quite pricey (180 rupees for a chai, 200 rupees for an instant coffee). There are areas in the departure lounge to charge your phone.

Accessibility: The airport is conveniently located around 10 kilometers from the city center, making it easily accessible for travelers. There are various transportation options, including taxis, buses, and car rentals.Terminal Facilities: The airport has a modern terminal with facilities such as clean waiting areas, restaurants, shops, and free Wi-Fi. The terminal is relatively compact, making it easy to navigate.Staff and Service: The airport staff is generally courteous and helpful. Security procedures are efficient, and the check-in process is usually smooth.Cleanliness and Maintenance: Pune Airport is well-maintained and generally clean. The facilities are kept in good condition.Limited International Connectivity: While Pune Airport offers international flights, it primarily serves domestic destinations. For international travel, passengers often need to connect through larger Indian airports.Baggage Handling: Baggage handling is typically reliable, and there haven't been many reports of issues in this regard.Parking: The airport provides parking facilities, but they can sometimes get crowded during peak travel times.Overall, Pune Airport is a decent and convenient facility for domestic and some international travel. Travelers can expect a hassle-free experience, but keep in mind that it might not offer as many international options as larger airports in India.

Small airport as it shares the airport with the Indian Air Force. Long queues for the scanning. Don't bring your Coconut (which you might have received in Pooja at any point in Pune) in a cabin luggage bag and keeping it in the trolly bag else you will have to leave it at airport from safety purpose.

Pune is indeed one of India's prominent cities. I've used Pune Airport multiple times. However, it's worth noting that the airport is situated quite a distance from the city, which can add to your travel time. The airport itself is relatively small, and its international connectivity is limited to major hubs. The arrival area is compact, with trolleys available for your convenience. There are two separate entry gates for different airlines, where you need to present your e-ticket printout and passport copy. Security at the airport is robust, and the facility is generally well-maintained. Pune Airport features a decent restaurant, although it can get crowded, especially when multiple flights are departing, which poses space challenges. The restaurant offers a variety of high-quality food options. On the downside, there are limited shopping stores at the airport. One notable advantage, however, is the relatively low traffic at Pune Airport.

From check-in to departure, Pune International airport is a well-managed airport that offers a hassle-free and enjoyable travel experience. Security procedures were smooth and streamlined. The airport's dining and shopping options were diverse and impressive. I could spend more time at the Food Court which is common to both, the Aero Mall and PNQ airport too. AirBar Lounge & Kitchen, Belgian Waffle, Bub-it, Baskin Robbins, Cookie Man, The Mexican Tapas Bar, Pizza Hut, Subway, SA Dosa, Chicking, Wow China, Biggies Burger, Chaat Bazar, Chai Point, Chitale Bandhu, Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters, Mark Pi’s Crazy Noodles, Crossword, Pizzaexpress, Haldirams, Rowan all these outlets to cater to your preferences. Overall the airport experience was great in all the terms.

Small airport and it is also used for defence. So they restrict photography. There are few shops selling gift items and snacks. No restaurants are available inside. They have Uber and Ola cabs in a separate building adjacent to airport entrance. You can use lift for the same. This building has a food court.
