Maratha Mejwaani

Maratha Mejwani; a traditional restaurant has wonderful food. We sat inside the cozy set up in chilling 15 Degree temp and had a gala dinner in this Pune climate. The special was Chicken chukka with some lip smacking taste. Everything was fantastic! We also had a Non-Veg thali, yummy! The chapati, korma, all of 'em. Especially the chicken stock all had my taste buds tingling... Didn't had to wait too long, order was right on time with the hunger pangs on.. 5 ain't enough, 10 it is worth the trip off the Gaikwad Wasti main road near Koregaon Park to eat here!

Good food. Love their small clean setup ! Was looking for a casual dinning place and it just appeared on the way home. Got it and made my order, but when checked online I realised it was 4Star rated on Google Maps and Zomato. Ordered Mejwani Chicken and Chapatis.. The chicken was gooe, but ran short of gravy and taste wise it was good only that it was slightly extra salty. The chapatis - they were out of the world, every single bite of chapati you take will remind you of your mom ! Best chapati.
