Sabudana khichdi with chutney was nice, batata wada was good too. Would love to visit again n try misal pav, poha and upma

I loved the misal but I missed the pav with it .
They serve bread slice which I didn't like it hope they change it later .misal without pav is incomplete.Thise who don't like spicy misal this is a place for them.Place is also conjusted to sit and sometimes there is a waiting for it.10 to 12 can sit at a time.

Years passed but the taste here is same, only one change that is now they serve less quantity for what they charge, still traditional Misal lovers likes to visit here on regular intervals

As soon as you step in, It’s a time travel to old pune. People queue up here and wait for their turn patiently on stairs. Their most famous product is misal, followed by Batata Wada, Sabudana Wada, Sabudana Khichadi.
We tried today all items mentioned above. Except sabudana wada everything was very tasty. Their chutney is best of all. Misal tarri has two versions Spicy and normal. Chopped onions and sliced lemon provided as per request.
Overall a wonderful experience. Shall visit again.

Shree upahar gruh is the oldest hotel near Laxmi road. I have been visiting this place for many years. Their preparation of Misal is different from other hotels, Sabudana khichdi is also from the must have list.

Good misal, sheera, sabudana khichdi chatni, must go place in Pune. Small place but do go. They also have branch on Sihagad Road.

One of my must visit places when I visit Pune City peth area. I am a die hard fan of khichadi specially their chutney. The misal is also tasty😋. Typical Puneri misal served with slice bread. Taak is a must combination with the misal. Only the issue is of parking which can be sorted if you visit their Sinhagad Road Branch.

Shree Uphar Gruh provides best misal in pune . They provide it with bread slices . And sample here taste as good as you get it . Other snacks item also have a good specific taste a typical PUNERI taste . One more item that I like and I get it every time I get here is SABUDANA KHICHADI with coconut chatni . Sabudana khichadi here taste a puneri taste with little sweetness in it . And shree uphar gruh is consistently famous snaks and misal centre among the PUNEKARS

The place serves many snacks, misal being the most demanded. The staff is helpful and attentive.The place is a bit cramped and the seating is okay.
What is worth it is the misal which is not too spicy or sweet and tastes just what you expect.
It is a bit hard to notice in a moving car but the crowd gives it away.
P.s. If you like misal, you should try this place.

Very old misal shop with really authentic taste. You can customize more or less spicy according to your taste by informing them prior. Here they serve bread slices not the buns . Price is reasonable. Ambience is okay. Even though it is small but well maintained and nice. It closes at 6.30 PM not at 8.30 or so as mentioned in this Google maps timing. Everything there taste really good. Worth a try. Must visit.
