Restaurant Thien Kim

The beautiful: food is great, very tasty and well served. Price is also very fair. The good: not very busy on Fridays noon, which is great for a calm lunch. The bad: the traditional music is kind of depressing and ambient is pretty dark. The ugly: service and staff could have some major improvement. Did not feel welcome.

I'll start with the good news. The food is good. It's good and you shouldn't be disappointed. Unfortunately, the bad news is that it's not authentic Vietnamese food. I get more authentic vietnamesse food in Yellowknife. The prices are at least 20% higher than any other vietnamesse restaurant I've ever been to and the service was subpar. The food took much longer to arrive than it should have and I never got my water glass refilled. The place is full of older Caucasian people, so I wouldn't change the menu either. If you don't usually eat ethnic food, you'll be quite happy there. Any foodie out there, be warned.
