Beech Tree Craft Beer

Would've been a five star as this is a craft beer hot spot, but the guy behind the bar let this place down for being completely disinterested in my existence as a customer. He chatted and laughed with his mates on the other side of the bar the whole time (he even counted the till in plain sight of them), which felt very alienating, and was googling pointless rubbish on his phone while I was ordering a beer. He seemed to get the job done, as he was attentively cleaning the tables around us, but seemed totally ambivalent to customers. It's a fantastic bar let down by its staff, sadly.

Happened upon this spot as we were walking around QT looking for some dinner seen a board offering a $25 steak meal deal and a range of craft beers so thought would give it a chance. 3 of us tried the steak, chips and salad meal for $25 was good value and tasty enough. Good selection of beers tried a nice sour ale that hadn't tasted before. Definitely give this place a shot some fairly priced food options considering normal QT prices. Friendly service and laid back atmosphere.

Tl:dr Experience so good I bought their beanie. No regrets. Ordered the ribs & wings to share and both were absolutely gorgeous. I've only had them authentically with a US expat once (Others were imitations) but their Buffalo chicken has the real taste of America, Frank's, & Freedom in it. Would return even if the only thing on the menu was buffalo wings 😌👌 They also have a dog friendly drink and snack available. Very cute

Amazing food with great pairings, highly recommend! We ordered an assortment of the wings, both sauced and dry. The dry were by far my favourites. Salt & Vinegar wings were juicy and soft, the spice didn't overpower the chicken, and dipping them in the house aioli was a perfect combination. Jamaican Jerk wings had that perfect little kick of spice. The spices made a crisp outside to the chicken and kept the juice on the inside. Although my party did not order any beer, we can all agree that the wings would work great with the staff recommendations we overheard in the background. Staff were friendly and fun! The atmosphere was great as well, klanking of glasses, people laughing and having a great time, and lighting that were easy on the eyes, making it an amazing place for friends to meet up.
