Jack Pot House

I'd driven past DaebakJib hundreds of times. Finally had a chance to eat there on Saturday. Let me say... Gettibg Korean food on Saturday is not the easiest thing to do, so instant +1 on the other 3 for that, they were all closed. The food quality, flavor, and texture were better than the other local options too. They have a pretty extensive menu and my of my group, everyone enjoyed their lunch. Portions were huge, but dang was it good. Inside was clean, and fairly spacious (especially considering how small the building looks from the road). The spicy pork was tender and brought a little heat to the table. All of our meals were served on heated iron plates, like you'd get with Fajitas. Rice was actually cooked all the way which is rare for the area. Water is served from chilled carafes and replaced as needed. The service was significantly better than most of the local restaurants, we never had to wait long for anything. I really don't have any complaints stemming from my visit. This place needs to stay in business.

At first glance, you wouldn't think much of this tiny restaurant, but it is so much more. Food here is amazing and delicious. The owner is very friendly and she works very quickly. The menu might be smaller but I like it much more than the other Korean restaurant in town. It's best to do a few things perfectly than a lot of things just alright.
