Jimmy V's Osteria + Bar

We had our rehearsal dinner at Jimmy V’s and they did a fantastic job. The food was great, they were super accommodating, and Trevor and Marissa were awesome servers, and Chase went above and beyond communicating and helping organize everything. Absolutely recommend grabbing dinner here or organizing an event with them!

We love the food and people at Jimmy V’s! We came every day of our stay in Raleigh & had the great pleasure of having Brook as our waitress! She was there morning & night and was always so friendly, helpful and fun to chat with. She added a lot of happiness to our meals. The iced tea, pizza, salads, and everything we ordered were delicious but the bruschetta & pasta Alfredo were beyond excellent! Chef Dustin is a genius. It’s hard to make Alfredo sauce just right - not too thick & clumpy but not too thin or runny. Dustin nailed it! My brother-in-law who is an Italian cuisine chef thought Dustin’s pasta Alfredo was perfect. The bruschetta blew our minds - it was so good! We are going to try to make it for our Thanksgiving appetizer but it won’t be as great as Dustin’s! We’ll try though. Thank you Brook & Dustin and Dominic for being so fantastic at your work & so friendly.

Recommended When in downtown Raleigh eat here. The staff was friendly and efficient. The kitchen was prompt and accurately filled our order. The food was served to all of our 10 person party at the same time and all the dishes were perfectly prepared. Prices are affordable. The atmosphere of the restaurant is pleasant and our conversations could be easily shared across the table.

We enjoyed our dinner. You could tell it was a slow evening. Our steaks were over cooked. I’m glad the server recommended other sides but if you recommend a temp on the steak it should be cooked at that temperature. It was an ok experience. I do not believe we are the ideal audience. Please give it a try you may love it.

My first time eating here and at first the experience wasn't good. The host took forever to seat us, the host didn't actually seat us a server did. Before then multiple servers just walked right past us as if they didn't see us. A line started to form and a lady behind us went to go look for someone. Its like we were just being ignored, so that was frustrating and rude at first. The food made up for it. I got ravioli with corn, bacon and smoked chicken. It also had some other things. It was really really good. Very spacious and our server was good.
