The restaurant is nice but their prices have gone up like everyone else’s and the portions have shrunk. The cheapest place for fish on Friday, is K&W and get a full meal with a drink.

Fresh hush puppies to start, delicious catfish and large portions of it, and the fried okra was great! Definitely coming back!!

I prefer Captain Stanley's over Mayflower. The food has always been good at this location. The staff are really friendly and I never had to wait very long to be seated.

This is the kind of fish camp I grew up going to. Shrimp tator tots and slaw. Soooo good! The desserts are really good too. Perfect take out for a Friday night (cheat meal)

Nice spot to go partake of the first place I've went to that feed you before you order. They give you a warm basket of hush puppies dats a plus for me. The food was good Williams return

Excellent service from wait staff.
Waiter went to kitchen and brought me two examples concerning my request about sea scallops. Very nice dinner with plenty of food for $15.

Captain Stanley’s Seafood Restaurant is a true Raleigh gem! This is a no frills family-owned seafood restaurant which never disappoints me and my dinner guests. The seafood always tastes fresh, the restaurant is extremely plain (yet CLEAN), the prices are incredibly reasonable, and the portions are very generous. You can choose from a hefty portion of your single favorite item (baked, broiled or fried) or choose a platter of your favorites (2-4 choices to mix and match). They offer regular, senior, and children portions and 1-2 daily specials. The staff here are always friendly and courteous. I feel they appreciate my business. If you love fresh seafood, you shouldn’t be disappointed!

Family dining atmosphere with great portions. Bang Bang Shrimp was more than enough for a family of 3-4, was a meal portion in and of itself. Then between the free Hush puppies and the meal I couldn't finish everything.
