San Jose Tacos And Tequila

We are never disappointed when we go here! The service, food, and atmosphere are always great! My kids love the food which is a plus and always ask to go here when we go up to the Raleigh area. So Delicious! We got the nachos, shrimp fried rice, fajitas and cheese dip and their SALSA is my favorite it's the only one I'll eat! As long as they're open I'll continue to go.

So I have been to San Jose Tacos y Tequila many times, and the food, service, and atmosphere are always on point. They are one of the priciest Spanish Latin/ Mexican food spots around, similar to Uncle Julios, which we also enjoy. That being said, I didn't even go in to eat here as I called the manager prior to heading up and simply asked him if there was anyway for me to come pick up some of their "to die for" tortilla chips. I was planning on having a bunch of my friends over for some homemade nachos and wanted to make sure I had the best ingredients! While I was there, I ended up helping some of the staff carry a couple of boxes of liquor to the bar and hold some doors for them, and they offered me my order for free!!!! A little help and kindness go a long way, folks!!! However, I made sure to pay and leave a nice tip even for my takeout order as I like supporting my local businesses and their families. That said, I made a giant platter of hatch chile chicken nachos, with a little sazon infused rice, pintos, black beans, pickled onions, diced heirloom tomatoes, shredded mixed greens, pico de gallo, a mixed blend of Spanish/ Latin cheeses and melted queso, cilantro, pablano crema, as well as some ortega hot sauce! Friends = 🤯😁🤤

I have been on the hunt for the perfect taco. Unfortunately, the tacos here were very disappointing. Not very flavorful at all. Also, it was a little overpriced. 14 dollars for 3 chicken tacos. The Margarita was a little better. The glass is huge, and a very nice presentation. I have been here a couple of times, and the fajitas are not bad, but I would avoid the tacos.

Celebrated my birthday dinner at this restaurant. They offer generous servings at a decent price. Their Mexican cuisine is truly authentic. If you're a fan of Mexican food, it's definitely worth a visit. Don't miss their freshly prepared guacamole, which is a standout. The nachos and sauces were exceptional. I opted for quesadillas, and they were delicious.

Excellent Mexican food... Their Nachos and Tacos are excellent... So is the Texas Fajita... And an awesome array of beautiful looking cocktails... We were celebrating my wife's birthday and the team joined in to sing and perform and offer free shots of tequila... The decor is beautiful too... Wonderful experience!
