If your craving some flavorful and seasoned how fish n chips should be then come here ! I came to the food hall craving only to leave happy with some fish n chips . Hush puppies balance flavors . Best hush puppy I’ve had and corn brightens the dish . Good price per serving too.

Fantastic food. I’ve now had their whole fried red snapper and their shrimp and both have been amazing. If you are looking for good sea food then look no further.

Looooove this place. Has been a couple years since I’d been back, but it’s just as good as my first time. Fresh and delicious shrimp and fries! Evan was very helpful at the order counter/pickup.

This was my first time ever at the Morgan Street Food Hall, and baby I am HOOKED on Oak City Fish and Chips. First and foremost it's a black owned business whose staff is extremely warm and welcoming. Secondly, the prices are extremely reasonable and the fish portions (which is whiting..my favorite) are HUGE. Lastly, the seasoning is unlike any other. I ordered the fish basket (which comes w/fries) and a side order of brown sugar hush puppies and by the end of my meal I was literally licking all 5 of my fingers. Whatever seasoning is being used is definitely custom made because the FOOD👏🏽WAS👏🏽FULL👏🏽OF👏🏽FLAVOR‼️ I definitely recommend this place and give it a 15 out of 10.

The fried lobster tail and shrimp was delicious! I had Oak City at the fair last year and once I knew they had a store front, I had to try it! They didn’t disappoint either! Definitely one of my favorites!

Just ate here for the first time at Morgan Street Food Hall and the fish, fries, and hush puppies were amazing! Evan provided great customer service as well. Will definitely get another fish basket soon.

Delicious hot & fresh food !!!!! I enjoyed my fried shrimp with fried scallops & you know what was just as great ?! Evan’s customer service - I’ve been here several times & he’s always so pleasant & helpful he’s a phenomenal asset to the establishment .. I will be returning 😊

The BEST calamari I've ever eaten. The breading is so well seasoned and delicious. the hot sauce is really good mixed with the cocktail sauce. And the staff are friendly and helpful. Wish I could tip them honestly!

My first time going here. Let me tell you something! It looked good and smelled good. I couldn’t wait to get home and eat. On another note…Steve is a fool lol he had me laughing the whole time and Nae(hope I spelled it right) was doing her thing. I’ll definitely be going back again. Any place that makes me feel at home is a place I need to be eating at. Excellent customer service and the vibe is amazing. Food is delicious!!!
