I visited Star Bar yesterday evening and noticed signage labeled Spice, indicating a possible rebranding. Despite not typically leaving reviews, I felt compelled to share my positive experience. Arriving just before 9 pm, we were warmly welcomed by a smiling host. Seated at the bar, our attentive server made our evening enjoyable. We ordered drinks, hookah, and dinner – the hookah was fantastic, and adjustments were promptly handled. The food, including shrimp, wings, Mac and cheese, cornbread, and yams, was exceptionally flavorful. Planning to return for more menu options, the early evening featured great music catering to everyone. Leaving around 11 pm, we observed a line of eager guests waiting to enter. For those seeking a serene atmosphere, delicious food, drinks, and good vibes, arriving around the time I did or earlier is recommended. Overall, a delightful experience with a well-selected and enthusiastic staff. I’ll certainly return on my next visit to Raleigh.

I'm not from here and not sure what some of these reviews are about. I walked in, I was greeted warmly, I ordered, small talked with a staff member and waited on my take out. Now for the good part.... I ordered sides because I wasn't very hungry. I started tasting each of my sides.... PARTY IN MY MOUTH!!!! The Yams very good and fresh it did NOT come out of a can. The MAC n CHEESE was FYAH!!!! Lawd hav mercy!!! The cornbread was delicious. I said in the beginning I wasn't that hungry hence ordering the sides. I ATE ALL of IT! 10 stars and 2 thumbs up from me!

I went on my birthday 10/02 it's a Sunday not busy at all but had the football game on and bartender was grezt.great.. food was a little slow for being dead but was the best food I have had since moving to Raleigh a month ago so 9 out of ten.. yes give it shot during the week.. I hear friday and sat it turns in to a club.
