Ihop

Ihop has not been a top choice for our food but the last couple of times I’ve been there, it’s been good. We were going to go to Red Robin today but decided to go to ihop instead and give it another shot and the food was really good! Good portion size too! They aren’t staff well (like everywhere else), but you can tell they’re doing their best. My bill was a bit screwed up and they were apologetic about it. When they tried to fix, it got more messed up. I just decided to pay the extra $3.50 i was charged because it wasn’t worth the back and forth and i can tell they were trying their best. Since I wasn’t a jerk about it, i ended up getting a future complimentary meal. Yes, they can do a little better wiping down the menus and cleaning the floors (can get sticky from syrup) but given limited staffing, sometimes that’s not always easy to do consistently.

Visited this morning around 10:00 for breakfast. The dining room was very busy as a typical Saturday. Service was perfect. We were seated immediately and our food was delivered fresh. I had the mushroom and spinach omelette meal, tea & a hot Chocolate. My daughter had a platter with eggs, bacon, sausage & Canadian bacon. We enjoyed the food & service.
