The George & Dragon

I had a 1* review before because of poor management. However, the pub has been under new management for 9 months and it is like a whole new place! Undesirables have been barred, there is almost never any shortages menu or beer wise... and they know how to clean the pipes properly 😃 come visit, you won't regret it (and say hi if you see me 😉)

Went with my 8 month pregnant better half and her disabled sister who is just coming out of hospital. Pub a little dated toilets clean The bar staff took really good care of her sister and the locals were also really helpful and friendly. Food was great pub grub as always for hungry horse. Thank you for looking after us.

I liked the old George & Dragon. Now that it has had short term unsuccessful managers it has lost its warmth because too many changes to suit new Management ways. Good staff on hand to help. Portions are big typical English Bar food Burgers chips fish and chips. Not sure about Sunday roasts but before this was very nice. Good selection of Beers Ales Ciders. But a few pumps out of service and not fixed for a while. On the Bath road. Plenty parking space. Bar games here. Used to be kids area before but not now? Beer garden at rear.
