Nice breakfast a bit greasy. Overall a nice atmosphere with a nice back yard. Also loads of options for beers and drinks.

Definitely worth the short walk out from the town centre. As ever Wetherspoons delivers with great food, reasonable prices and good service. I always use the App for ordering food & drink. I also like the choice of seating options with tables in small booths for those who like a little more privacy, standard tables and high tables with stools which I find very comfortable. There is also a large outside seating area extending around the side and back of the building. Only slight criticism is regarding the tiny sachets of mustard, need about six to get an adequate amount, some Wetherspoons put the mustard in bottles which makes it much easier.

Visited this place on the way back from Basingstoke. Beautiful gardens to sit outside in. Very clean, comfortable and relaxing inside. Good menu and friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble. Food is superb, quick, tasty and very reasonable. Parking is plentiful. Worth a visit or 3!

A cavernous spoons, serving their usual fare, they have an exclusive beer, B.O.B' s yer uncle, brewed by local brewery Loddon.
Also a very rare spoons with toilets on the ground floor!

Was really impressed with this spoons, been to leads before and this is one of the better ones.
Despite being towards the end of the day the pub was very clean. There are loads of tables and plenty of space.
There's the normal great spoons menu with something for everyone. Prices are very competitive and there are sometimes meal deals.
Our food came quickly and was beautifully cooked or reheated! Definitely recommend this spoons.

This was a great pub to go drinking at, with a classic design for Reading including frames on the walls! The lighting and bar are pretty, me and my friend enjoyed a cocktail but they forgot to serve us initially until we asked where it was; seating is comfortable and cleanliness had been enforced.

Nice pub, was really busy but did find a seat for 6 of us. ordered via app and drinks came quickly. Foods nice also and great prices for both food and drink.

Always enjoy popping in for a pint with BOB and a couple of meals from time to time.
Atmosphere is great and have never been let down on the food or service!
Absolutely no parking, but you can get away with poking your car at the retail park a short walk away for a couple hours 😉

All meals were nice bar the dry lasagne where it literally came slapped on the side of a massive plate , no side salad ever came. It didn't spoil the lunch and we had a giggle. Staff were lovely, price was good. Nice outside seating are by the river.
