Lovely artisan coffee shop. Atmosphere is very welcoming. Great place to come during the day for a decent coffee and food. I haven't been in the evening for a while but it is always busy when I go past. All the staff are friendly. Nice to be able to have coffee somewhere chilled and relaxed. This is the place I normally suggest going for coffee and beats the other chain coffee shops in the High Street hands down.

Good coffee, albeit on the more expensive side, and pastries. Weekday afternoons are great for smaller groups like our new mums group as plenty of space upstairs, lift for prams, and a spacious changing room (accessible WC).

Great place! Cosy upstairs, table service, sweet staff, good coffee, child friendly, comfy, and soon to be serving up GF sweet treats. Savoury menu looks good and alcohol available. What's not to like?

Will be much better once they start doing proper food again. White bread baguettes in the meanwhile which aren't particularly inspiring.

In my opinion the best coffee shop I have ever been to.
As a remote working dev I often like to get out the house, and Broad Street Bar and Kitchen is the BEST place. They have good WiFi, you can order drinks from your table and it's never too loud. In my opinion it everything you need if you work from home and want to get out the house.
I spend at least one day a week working here at the moment and the food, staff and drinks are all great.

Excellent food and service; a touch of class and tranquility in the middle of Reading. Friendly staff and nothing is too much trouble, a great selection of teas and coffee too. My daughter and I went for breakfast in the morning and returned later in the day for cocktails. Will definitely be back.

Broad street arranged a reserved seating area for a team of 10 very last minute for a work do. They brought cocktails over to us when inside and out and were very forthcoming with any extra requests we had!! Lovely cocktails. Would highly reccomend!

Came last night and was surprised at how nice the cocktails were! managed to get through about 4 each with my wife and at 2 for £10 you really can't complain, will definitely be coming back

Really nice atmosphere and the food is AMAZING! Really recommend the toad in the hole sharer! Also great mochas and if you ask nicely they will put whatever pattern you want in the foam!

I was so impressed with my drop-in visit to broad Street bar and kitchen. The open windows gorgeous, the flowers created such a great atmosphere and the staff can’t be criticised. Will definitely be returning if not for the cocktail deal for the delicious coffee!
