Golden Bridge

The customer service and food has definitely improved. It’s been a few years since i came back and all i can say is wow. The portions have always been great but the quality of the food is beautiful. There used to be a rude bloke who was taking the orders but it seems like he’s been replaced. Instead of him it was a wonderful women on the phone, who was kind and polite. She helped guide me though the dishes as i had some allergies. I just want to say a big thank you to her. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again, not the mention the Singapore rice noodles are the most delicious thing i’ve eaten. It’s spicy enough to tingle but not enough to burn ur tongue off, which i love. The taste is indescribable. If anybody wanted a recommendation i would definitely say this.

We're a bunch of serial take-out fanatics and we can't recommend Golden Bridge Enough! We've tried every Chinese in our area (pretty much all of Reading) and there just isn't a Chinese that comes close to this place. One experience we had sums it all up: On one of our orders, we were sent the wrong dish. The dish they actually ended up sending looked very good too, so we were completely fine eating it instead of faffing about! We still called in and just to make sure that were weren't stealing someone else's dinner though. We also reassured them that were were fine with the dish and really didn't want the delivery guy to come back. Well, in the end, he did come back. With a hot piping replacement of our original order and two fortune cookies (which, funny enough, came up with some pretty damn accurate fortunes!). So all in all, if you're in or around Reading and looking for a really decent Chinese that tastes almost home-cooked, look no further! Best Chinese in Reading bar none!
