A good restaurant for vegetarians, though not many choices. Reasonably priced. We enjoyed our food. Service is good. We had a reservation at 8 pm. We did not find live music, I am not removing any star for this as we found it worth driving 25 minutes for dinner from Stanfordville where we are staying for weekend.

Modern Taco lives up to its name! Creative twist on all menu selections. Fresh ingredients throughout. Offering something for everyone. Cozy Interior and patio for warmer months. Friendly, attentive staff. Really good, tasty food at reasonable prices. Head over!

Absolutely delicious! We ordered quesadillas, the salsa trio, beans, rice and the chorizo and chicken taco and every bite was amazing. The margaritas were great too! Will certainly return. Thank you!

Have the Chorizo tacos, the are my very favorite taco of all time. I crave them if I haven't had them in a while! Great place. They have figured out how to do great take out since COVID hit. Call early, sometimes there is a long wait, but it's worth it.

Delicious and complimentary homemade bean-dip and tortilla chips.
My favorite drink is the grilled pineapple mezcal.
The steak burrito is phenomenal 👌fresh tortilla and what must be local beef.

this has quickly become our 'go to' restaurant. The food is always delicious, good service and the overall atmosphere warm & welcoming. the chipotle deviled eggs are a must every time! and when you find a place that makes a good margarita, how do you stay away?!

Happy Hour Margaritas and draft Modelo with chips! Came for a pre-show dinner, had 2 good margaritas and 2 tacos, Guajillo chicken and spice rubbed beef with a side of rice and beans. The chicken had a nice assortment of toppings which added freshness and crunch. The beef was slightly sweet and tasty with, who doesn't love, avocado! Nice little spot with stylish, comfy decor and attentive service. I'll be back!

I love stopping by Modern Taco when in Red Hook. Good food, good service, nice seasonal outdoor dining, cozy indoor space. I apologise for not having photos, maybe another time. Extra credit the owner or one of the staff appreciates motorcycles (yes, we all like compliments and talking shop to a degree). If you're in the Red Hook, Rhinebeck, Tivoli area (pretty much classic ground zero for Hudson valley foodies) you should at least consider Modern Taco
