Stingray Sushi Bar + Asian Grill

Put plainly: absolutely incredible. Ambience is amazing, and I knew I was in for good sushi when I saw how many sushi boats were being brought out. I had a variety of salmon as part of a combo, after a fried avocado special that was mind blowing. The beers were cold. The sushi was good. The servers were friendly. The whole family had fun. The facilities were clean. I will 100% be eating here again when I visit family. My advice: be very hungry and stay for hours trying all the rolls. That’s my plan next time.

Ordered Man Eater roll, Shrimp Tempura Roll, Hamachi Lover Roll, and a crazy tuna roll. Took almost 15 minutes for me to get the rolls(ordered online) because the bar tender had to do shots with the other bar tender, talk to what I guess is a friend of his, and do absolutely everything else he could before walking over to hand me my food that was just sitting there. Sadly, there was a group of guys in the corner that looked frustrated because they were trying to pay their bill and the bar tender was ignoring them(wasn’t very busy). Then I was double charged, but when I called Kaylee said she would take one charge off. Food was ok at best. Not the worst sushi I have had and nowhere near the best. As you can see in the picture there was two rolls I couldn’t tell apart in looks or taste. The third roll was frustrating because you either had a bite of tuna or avocado, but not both. Also, the roll was supposed to be crunchy but had none. The last roll was supposed to have sesame seeds on it but didn’t. The sushi looked decent and average size, but flavor and ingredients were not there.

Great happy hour specials. Delicious sushi. My partner had the Mongolian beef and broccoli and really liked it. Good atmosphere and friendly bartenders. Amazing selection of premium Japanese liquor including Toki. There is good air circulation indoors and there is also outdoor seating. This place stays open late with Late Night menu after 10pm. I thoroughly enjoy coming to Stingray. The miso soup wasn't great (did not eat much of it), nor was the spicy tuna roll (it was blended fish and sauce inside the roll instead of sliced tuna). Still a great dining experience 5/5. I absolutely recommend dining at Stingray.

Ate here while on vacay in Rehoboth. The food was okay. I would probably not come back. It was just OKAY. The dips/sauces didnt compliment the food. The cheesesteak spring rolls were good but the red dip did not compliment it. I didnt even get a picture of my ribeye entree cause I sent it back. It was a new menu item the steak was okay but the sides mixed in to a puree type dish didnt hit for me. Nice ambiance and my waitress was nice.

Been to many sushi places and this place was sub-par. Not only was it expensive, but they didn't take the time and care for each sushi roll like other places have. I have a dietary restriction and made sure my whole order was as easy as possible for them. Yet when I got my sushi, there was a piece of imitation crab on it, something that will make me sick if I eat it. I was quite disappointed with that, since they made it seem like they were accommodating for dietary restrictions/preferences. It might be a better experience for you, so it never hurts to check it out, but it's not a place I'd visit again.

My wife and I have been looking for a new sushi spot down the beach and all we kept hearing was cultured pearl, after trying there multiple times we were not impressed. The sushi at stingray was very good and the drinks were strong. We did get pad Thai as well but both thought that it was pretty bland. We will definitely be returning soon to try more dishes. Ambiance was very nice. Staff was friendly.
