Palate Bistro & Catering

I am wowed by this little place with great variety just off the coastal highway in Rehoboth. Once inside the unassuming storefront you see a simplistic but majestic decor. The wait staff was very friendly and polite. And the food! We had the cheese plate, shellfish bowl, fried green tomatoes sandwich with crispy bacon and chicken with soba and vegetables. Let me tell you everything was perfectly made by clearly proud staff. If you have time check out this little gem.

Lorraine at Palate was excellent to work with, she is professional and experienced. But the best part of having Palate cater our event was the food. We chose a lunch menu for a memorial reception, and my guests all commented on how good, fresh and abundant the food was. It was beautifully presented, the order was complete, and there were extra plates and cutlery. It was perfect. I can highly recommend Palate.

Fantastic experience today with my family. Loraine and Gary (chef owners ) prepare and serve fresh local ingredients. Menu is diverse and fun. There is a very clean open kitchen. This is a place for foodies. Most importantly they had no problem accommodating my sons food allergies - it was the easiest place to eat with him we have been to in years. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful food, family owned by people who care about the food they serve, the service is wonderful, everyone is friendly and happy you are there. There are always nightly specials that are creative and delicious. The regular menu has many tasty options as well. The food is lovingly prepared, and you can taste it. It is also beautifully presented. We have used them for catering a brunch as well, and the food was fantastic. Two things to know though is they only serve beer and wine (we would love it if they served alcohol) and the lunch menu isn't different then the regular menu, so you are paying dinner prices for lunch-same great food though.

My wife and I ate at Palate last night. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. Not only that but the prices were very affordable - first class food and service for a moderate price! Try it, you'll be glad you did. Try the pate. I had the seafood paperadelle and my wife had the salmon - Yummy! Don't be fooled by the strip mall, this is good!

We want to thank Lorraine and Gary for a wonderful 50th anniversary dinner party. The food, wines,flowers and service were perfect. We celebrated on a Sunday afternoon with friends and family and it was truly a memorable occasion. Palate continues to be one of the best restaurants in the area! Arline and Lowell
