Jake's Seafood House

Jordan our server was excellent! Very attentative, but not pushy. This was our first time & my husband got the special of soft shell crabs. They were sauteed, not fried like the Special stated. The best soft shells since our visit to Smith Island! I had the Rockfish, which was highly recommended by Jordan. It was broiled & absolutely delicious! The sides were ok, but we were not here for the sides! What a wonderful night!

One of two fruit flies during my meal. First was in my beer. Crab legs were dry. The all you can eat was only for blue crabs which was not made clear on their sign out front. I was offered some kind of offer to return, thanks but no thanks. Nasty tourist trap. The boneless"wings" actually chunks of breast were passing. They gave me a plate to go, $40 made them.the most expensive"Wings" I have ever had. No wonder you closed the Rehoboth location, they were onto you. Pathetic.

I ordered the broiled seafood platter and it was amazing! Also, got a new fashioned which was a nice twist on the old fashioned and it was half off for father's day. Jake the server ( yes our server is named Jake and he works at Jake's) was really great and very personable. We got the caramel apple dumpling for dessert to go. The best is tax free Delaware!

This place is super big on the inside. A lot of friendly staff. A bar. A stage for entertainment events. Biggest seafood place I have seen in awhile. We were just rideing through and got in the mood for some crab. I was thinking crab cakes and that's what I got. They where good. I got 2 cause I like to eat.

After I received my food I remembered why it took three years for me to return here. I forgot it was overpriced for the quality of food served. Service was good. The hostess and servers were friendly and attentive. Food was disappointing. I ordered a Caesar salad which was more the size of a side salad . Some of the lettuce was brown. Salads are fresher and bigger at basically any other restaurant. Additionally, crab cakes were disappointing (a lot of bread compared to crab). Bar is nice if just looking for drinks. If looking for food there are better places.
