Tacos El Rey

Omg!!! This place has great, delicious and flavorful food! We liked it so much we went back the next day. The torta haogada was not spicy at all. You have 3 options of salsas you can add to add spice if you want to. I skipped it because it was delicious on it’s own. The pozole was my next favorite. The meat and hominy were soft and the caldo was flavorful. The tacos de lengua were also really flavorful. They had the right amount of flavor, salt and was so tender. Once again their salsas are pretty yummy! Assorted drinks available. Customer service was amazing!!! Clean bathrooms. Many homeless people around this area but worth coming in.

The WORST customer service I’ve experienced in a long time, first time in Reno, NV. We stopped at the outlets next door and they recommended us this place for decent prices on the seafood. Right off the bat “the sign to not me on phone while ordering” I knew wasn’t gonna be a good experience then while we are ordering she got mad because I said 1 taco at first then changed my might right away and said 2. She gave the meanest glare at the paper, and it was like that ruined her whole day! I understand being in a restaurant for long periods of time can be draining but if you literally hate your job so much you should quit! The shrimps in my food were old and over cooked and the salsa was so effin hot!!! Never in my life have I ever had such spicy Camarones a la diabla it’s almost like she told the cook to add in a habanero I ate it regardless cause I love spicy but they def did that on purpose. And the coctel of seafood also had old seafood in it we go to mariscos wherever we can and this was by far the worst! Please save your time and money and find another spot. I feel bad for putting this out there but this lady needs to find something she will love doing instead of being blatantly rude to ppl.

I just waited a few mins for the cashier to finish her person phone call (I had to say hello to her) after her phone call she just stood there I had to ask if it was okay to order with attitude she answers ya. Haven't even got my food but know I will not be coming back which sucks because I've heard alot of good things about the food.
