Silver Chopsticks

We're from out of town, visiting from Seattle and Dallas respectively, and came to Silver Chopsticks because they could accommodate one among our group with genuine celiac disease. The waitress was very adept at helping us find a dish that would not contain any gluten, and could also make changes to many dishes that would accommodate our needs. For myself, I got the orange peel chicken, and it was excellent! Everyone was happy with their food, the service and the price.

Partner got the vermicelli bowl and I got crispy orange peel beef. We also got Chinese egg rolls and salt and pepper calamari. (Eat the calamari withe the cabbage salad that it comes with!) The dishes were very good. Portions were small but I understand…inflation’s hitting us all. Service was prompt and lovely folks working there.

Silver chop sticks is an awesome Chinese restaurant! The food was fast and amazingly delicious! The service was the same. Everyone there was polite, respectful, would not allow my wife to carry the box with a very large order of food (feminists might think this is chauvinistic, but it is proper), they opened the door for us, and wished us merry holidays. It was so good, my wife gave them a $20 tip! Their restaurant was very clean. Tables were clean, but got recleaned and set for customers while we waited for our food. If I lived in Reno/Sparks area this would definitely be my go to Chinese place.

This review only pertains to the Pho that I ordered, I can't speak for the rest of the menu. Frankly this was some of the worst pho I've had in my life. The meatballs were completely rubbery and chewy, not soft like they should be. There was gobs of meat fat as part of the soup- I believe they were intended to be eaten, but we could not. The tripe came in extremely long strips, making it very hard to eat without tearing it apart by hand.
