Restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is great. The server was very nice! But the food was not worth coming back. The slow cooked goat was mush and full of bits of bone. Chile Reno was not done right. Refried beans tasted weird! Tortillas were good. 3 out of 4 in my family disliked their food. Maybe it's just the cook tonight... Yes, we're American but we regularly eat Mexican food everywhere we go so we know Mexican. I'm sorry to say, it's the worst 'nice' Mexican restaurant we've ever been to.

Amazing Mexican food! Boyfriend ordered Carne asada and enchiladas. I ordered the carnitas which were both awesome! The asada had a citrus flavor and was super refreshing. Carnitas had some saltiness to it which was super good, especially cause I got some skin pieces 🤤. Definitely recommend this place! Best family ran restaurant 💕

Service was great, but my BF and I went in for a molcajete and it just wasn't that good. There was no soup to it and hardly any cheese. I love to be able to eat it as a soup and make a taco out of it and that just wasn't an option. Plus it was not served with any avocado or guacamole. I was overall disappointed with the food but the restaurant and environment was really great.

The place has a lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and relaxing music. We start off our meal with chorizo and nachos as a appetizer and I found any worries washed away with just how delectable it is. The Chorizo is cheesy and fresh showing just how deliciously l homemade it is. The nachos are a near perfect treat.the beef is super soft as other reviewers have said which texture actually works well with the mild nachos , well if it wasn't for the Nacos chips ending up soggy themselves but that is the breaks with Nachos to my experience. Reports about the refried beans tasting "Funny" are not completely baseless as the refried beans are made a little different which I suspect has to do with the choice of cheese in it. This doesn't make it bad by any means. I myself feel indifferent by this new flavor while my mother quite enjoys it. For the main course I ordered a Burrito Ranchro. Now I'm not sure how but it functions like a stew wrapped in a tortilla. I was Surprised to bite into a burrito that looked so well preserved and dry on the outside only for the inside to be filled with so much meat and beans soaked in there own juicy broth with more of that cheese used in the refried beans and other garnishes like spices used to prefect that kick that makes food send those pleasure signals to your brain. I came in here afraid of not knowing if I would like what I got but I was Pleasantly disappointed and look forward to my sheltered taste buds being proved wrong time and time again from this place. The Tacos meat instead of being melted like the rest of the meat was grilled to a chewy yet firm delight me and mother could wish for nothing more from other then for it to also be covered incheese.
