We Olive & Wine Bar

One of the only places in Reno where you can refill a glass bottle of Olive Oil or Vinegar. Incredible vinegar infusions, since so delicious I pour them directly on ice cream. I use their mild to robust olive oil blends for cooking, salad dressings, marinades, and anything else. The staff is rad and super friendly. They also do wine tasting, which I haven't tried yet, it's on my list. With wine tasting they offer different charcuterie plates and other miscellaneous appetizers. I love this place.

We Olive is one of my favorite spots to go in Reno. They have a great wine selection and delicious small plates. My favorite is the cheese plate. I get it almost everytime I go there. Can't go wrong with wine and cheese. Whether you go by yourself for a glass of wine or with a friend you will always get great service. Plus I love their selection of olive oils and balsamic vinegars to use at home. They will let you sample them to find the one you like best. Next time your looking for a place to have a nice glass of wine and be surrounded by friendly people definitely check this place out!

What a great place! Lots of delicious food items for gifting and the olive oils and vinegars are outstanding. So much fun to taste before buying, and trying different combinations of oil & vinegar. To top it off, you can sit at the bar or a cozy table and have wine or beer and order small bites to share or enjoy all to yourself. I definitely will be going back!

We are new to Reno and really miss the olive oil store we used to shop at. Although Whole Foods does have some nice olive oils, I really like to keep my pantry stocked with a variety of the more unusual flavors. I told the owner what I was looking for and she knew exactly what to pour for us to sample. While we were tasting we became a little hungry so we ordered the bruschetta appetizer and wine. The shop is beautifully decorated in Tuscan colors of sage, rusts, with a beautiful stone fireplace. Guys, this is the place to take your girl for a romantic date!

I was headed to my favorite store (World Market) as I looked over and saw We Olive & Wine Bar. I thought what the heck, I’d pop in to see what the place had to offer, not realizing at the time it would later become one of my favorite spots to meet some friendly people in a peaceful space to decompress. The owner Alysia is incredibly knowledgeable about her olive oils, wine list, and menu that often times has new items listed to pair with a glass of vino in hand. Alysia and her punctual staff genuinely want to make sure you are satisfied with what you ordered. Oh, and did I mention the olive oil and vinegar pairings you can sample that will have your taste buds dancing?! I highly recommend stopping in to experience the eclectic variety of oils and wines this hidden treasure has to offer!

I have visited We Olive many times and what I enjoy the most is the feeling that I am no longer in a bustling city and that I am relaxing in a wine bar far away! The wine selection is extensive and the fact that I can order 4 “samples” of different wines allows me to experiment without having to pay for a full glass. The menu items are great flavors and fresh ingredients. I really love the green olives on the menu (I won’t even try to spell the name!). If alone I sit at the bar and always meet interesting people. If I want some private time I sit at a table and I continue to have great service. Besides the fresh food and well balanced wines We Olive has some vinegars and olive oils that I give as gifts and collect for my own home. It is free to try the vinegar and oil so make sure not to miss out in that part of this specialty wine bar.
