Wendy's

After a horrendous experience 28 years ago with this very store, I'm pleased to say that I've had relatively good experiences since, with the exception of walking up to a locked lobby a few times this past year. Living so close to it and technically not having a car, walking in seems line the best options for its neighbors. We don't have to stay to eat. We just want the nondiscriminatory option of take out / to-go without needing a vehicle. Otherwise, the food is (now) fully cooked, the Frosty's are perfect and it all still tastes like Wendy's.

Four(4) visits in the last three(3) weeks. Service is VERY POOR. Employees spend too much time chatting with each other or with their friends who visit. May I suggest... If you are not going to take my order in a timely and professional manner... Maybe you could at least spend that time cleaning the tables, the tables are disgusting!

The burgers and fries were hot. The frosties were cold and the drinks too. It was very clean everywhere. It was very cold inside, it felt good at first then after awhile it felt good to go back out into the heat for awhile.. later we wanted a frosty and went to another location but the dining room was not open so we came back here since we knew we could sit inside and not have the frostys melt fast inside our car. The new strawberry frosty is good and it was good to be cold sgain.

Got some food. Started driving home while eating. Felt something on the burger. Turned the light on and it was mold all on the bread..the straight whit powder looking stuff. Super disgusting but it happens so I drive back through the drive thru to tell her a refund. They tell me the mangers not there so they can’t process it and to comeback later to get something different I tell them I just want a refund. They refuse even after seeing the bun was moldy, they tell me too much was eatin. It was dark so I didn’t notice the powder stuff right away so I took a few bites.. she (Maria) tells me she can’t do a refund so I told her that’s against your guys’ policy. She cared less and said she cldnt. After refusing to pull to the side she says she’ll call the police so I told her go ahead because I know I wasn’t in the wrong at all. The worst part was they sent a guy outside to take pics of my plates and while doing that multiple Wendy’s employees came to the window to see what the hold up was and I thought they would step into correct but they just looked and talked. It’s super messed up I got served bad food and got the police called on me while being laughed at. This happened on 5/17/22 at around 10:20-10:35ish. These people don’t represent the brand in anyway that reflects the values the company aims for. I feel sick and will be going back with my receipt during the day and asking for their market managers info..not confident and not sure if I record or not but this is such a bad experience to have it doesn’t sit well and can’t help but feel for other customers that chose that Wendy’s and got served hot trash

Having just read the article, "Which are the 10 best fast food restaurants using the healthiest food items?" Wendy's was rated Number One! Hey, so off to check it out... Entering with my friend, we noticed 4 to 5 cars headed for their drive through. Once inside we were greeted with cool, fresh air and a short line, of one, to order. Well lit & mainly empty as it was mid afternoon we could see that the entire restaurant was shiny clean from floors to windows. The waitress quickly took our orders which totaled just under $12 for mid range hamburgers, lg. & sm. fries & a lg. Coke. There was a large array of cold drinks to choose from. I always did like that one fills little cups with Ketchup instead of those little foil packs. One seats theirselves at any table available & I really liked eating indoors in a clean air conditioned establishment for a change. This Wendy's on Kietzke Avenue is easy to access & the drive through & parking are straight ahead. I can imagine lunch hours as being pretty busy... And since I am always forgetting to take photos, I'll close by saying, "I had the healthiest fast food available at a really good price 👍!" Next time, Breakfast!!
