Cantina

My husband and I took a spontaneous trip the visit the biggest little city. We made our way to the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa and had the pleasure of dining at the Purple Parrot. The food was excellent and the customer service was top-notch! We ordered the chicken fried steak and the French toast sandwich. The over medium eggs were done to perfection and the chicken fried steak was tender on the inside crispy on the outside without too much salt like some places tend to add. The breading was not too thick and very flaky. The bacon was also properly cooked not too crispy not under done but nice and chewy just the way it should be. Our waiter was very friendly and on point when it came to ensuring that everything was to our satisfaction. The gaming floor was bright and vibrant and had a great selection of games to choose from including slots, table games, keno, and high limits. I highly recommend the Atrium Lounge when you need to regroup and relax. The lighting is appropriate for the setting and they have a great list of Wine and Spirits to choose from to Aid in that relaxation. Also the elevators are located in the area and are a feature unto themselves with their bright flashing lights and the decor has a modern art deco vibe to it which I found to be very aesthetically pleasing. The room rates are reasonable around the entire facility is very maintained as far as cleanliness and sanitation are concerned.

Had an absolutely amazing time! So much fun I forgot to take more pictures! The rooms were very spacious and clean. They appear to be recently remodeled. The casino has made a lot of renovations in recent years. The marble at the bar is absolutely beautiful I’ve never seen anything like it. The gambling was great my wife and my friend took him some money! The best part is the casino did not smell like cigarettes! I will definitely go again and I highly suggest you visit as well!

We stayed here passing through on a road trip and here are some thoughts (for only sleeping, eating one meal and spending a couple hours at the pool): 1. Pool area was good for us and our 3 & 7 year olds. Hot tub was hot, but not too hot for short periods for our kids to enjoy 2. If you’re not used to smoke, get ready because it smells like smoke almost everywhere 3. Was very clean and staff were nice 4. Parking was easy enough 5. Good enough value for the price (May) 6. Food was a toss up. Some items like burgers and salads were good. Spaghetti was horrible.

This stay was pleasant. The buffet was delicious with many choices to choose from. The Purple Parrot was good food and good service, as was the Oyster Bar. The rooms were clean and spacious. Room service was fast and served us with a smile. There are two pools, one inside and one outside with both of them clean and enjoyable. There is also a beauty spa, which I regretfully did not get to experience so I cannot comment on that, but based on the rest of the stay I can only imagine it was nice too. The casino was enjoyable too. I did not feel like I was throwing money away as the machines were generous with pay outs. This was my first trip to Reno and I will surely say that when I go back this is a hotel casino that I will visit again. My only complaint would be that the soda machines did not have water in them and I had to travel to another floor to get water. Thank you for a non greedy, and pleasant experience

My wife and I just spent a couple days in Reno. The Atlantis was our favorite destination. The mythical Atlantis makes you think of what opulence must of been like thousands of years ago. The Atlantis in Reno to me should be considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World. A monolithic massive structure, it's grandeur is unsurpassed. When inside, it makes you feel at ease, and in no hurry to leave. Dining was magnificent. I really enjoyed gambling, because I was able to play a slot machine for a long time on a small investment. Had a wonderful time there.

Very nice casino. Clean, spacious, good parking, buffet is well-appointed with great selection and uncrowded seating. The rooms are roomy and the bed and pillows are very comfortable! There is a pod coffee maker and a safe in the closet. The 4 stars is only because smoking is still allowed and the smell is always prevalent.

I live locally and run a business. I was looking for hotels I can reserve for clients and potential employees or travelers. I lived right next to Atlantis when I first moved to town and was surprised by their great reviews since their exterior is flashy but outdated. I booked my room and paid more for an upgraded one. I expected similar or better quality to other high end casinos. Room hasn't been updated since before 2010 and is a suite that is about the size not a suite. I called 15 minutes after getting in the room because the room and floor were dirty and nor up to standards. I called for a room change which went nowhere. I called to cancel my reservation and the staff transferred me 5x in 30 minutes then told me ton wait for a call in my room. 30 minutes later I call the front desk manager again and he is also rude and condescending (Miguel). This is the first hotel I have stayed in who hasn't let me cancel or even offered a better room. There are casinos close by with much better rooms for hundreds less. Worst customer service I have ever had. Miguel literally told me the only option I had was to upgrade to a $500 more expensive room. I would compare this hotel more to the the row hotels downtown I'll stop town then the luxury hotels which you can see from the windows of the rooms at the Atlantis. I will definitely not be bringing clients or potential employees here.
