High class food with innovative ideas made from locally sourced produce. Along with the wine flight this made for a special evening, thank you to all the excellent staff who made it a perfect evening. What a treat!

We booked the 10 course tasting menu as we were given a voucher for Christmas for Middleton Lodge, we decided to use it at the Forge and what a great decision that was. The service was on point, friendly, attentive and informative. The food was amazing, well prepared, flavourful and beautifully presented. This was our second visit to the Forge but it definitely will not be our last. Grab a bargain before the Michelin Star comes!!

Exceptional. 10 course tasting menu. Best we have had anywhere! Looked after from start to finish. Chefs come out and explain dishes all locally sourced ingredients with many from their own gardens. Flavours out of this world.. beautifully presented and a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant nice low lighting and rustic feel. Will definitely be staying at Middleton Lodge again and eating in The forge! Top marks to staff for an all round a fabulous evening.
