Always come here when I go to North Yorkshire to visit the area. I’m from Whitley bay and it’s well worth the drive 50 plus miles or so just for the food! Always pay in cash, cash is king! Great food at a decent price.

Couldnt be happier with our visit to this hidden gem - open on New Year's Day, with freshly cooked chips (extra crispy by request), and the best pineapple rings I've had on British soil!
Clearly a 'fish n chip' shop that knows it's craft; oil at the right temperature, so no soggy chips or batter, friendly and helpful service, along with fair prices. What more could you want from a chip shop?!

Lovely chips suitable for vegetarians and curry sauce and battered pineapple. Veggie burger could've done with sauce and salad but otherwise very nice :)

They do a good thin N crispy pizza in any size bigger than small.

Just had a fish and chip takeaway. Food was piping hot and delicious. Crisp batter on the cod. Generous portions.
