They might be pricey on some things but I love their vegetarian and vegan options in their grab and go section. They have a delightful selection of craft beers from all around. And a really nice selection of all kinds of veggies in their produce area. It's a special treat when I run in when I'm in the area

Great selection for an independent health food store. Hope they bring the hot bar and salad bar back. They were so good. But if not, its still worth shopping at. Prices are a little high but so is every non-amazon health food store. If you eat vegan and gf, be sure to pick up a piece of the sweet potato cheesecake. It's insanely good.

Ellwood Thompson's holds a special place in my heart, stemming from childhood memories. My father has been a loyal customer for over 20 years and would often bring my siblings and me along on his visits. As kids, we always looked forward to picking out our favorite healthy snacks from their diverse selection. Now that I've grown, my appreciation for Ellwood Thompson's has evolved. I genuinely admire their commitment to sourcing local produce, nurturing a bond between the farm and our tables. It's not just about the products, though. The staff here is consistently friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to assist. Ellwood's is more than just a store; it's a community pillar that has enriched many lives, mine included. Highly recommend!

One of a kind private owned business; and if I recall correctly, owned by Employees. This is an awesome place. Little to no advertising, either on announcements nor on items sold. Products including Fresh Produce; and offerings that include healthy choices. Well run Bakery and a Sushi bar as well. Also, plants for sale in season and noce homey seating in and outside. Important to support the small Business, which maintains the unique feel of towns including Richmond-- where Ellwood Thompson's is located.
