The biscuit is flaky and golden brown and crispy on the outside, and soft and fluffy on the inside😋😋 But Biscuit Place is more than just biscuits!! They also have a variety of other delicious breakfast items, such as omelets. And if you're looking for something sweet, they have a selection of homemade jam!! The best part about visiting the South is getting really good biscuits and gravy. You just don't get them in NJ. Found the Early Bird Biscuit Co. when planning a trip to Richmond. While waiting to order, you can watch the workers preparing fresh biscuits, and the staff members were all friendly and welcoming. The biscuit was large and flaky. The sausage gravy was hot with the perfect amount of spice to get you going in the morning. Can't beat the price either. Washed it all down with a strawberry lemonade. Great way to start a day of sightseeing and concert going.

Great shop, the biscuit are quite large, warm and flakey, you definitely feel like you're getting a bargain for the price and even more so for the taste. The biscuits are so dang fluffy, I'm not sure how they make them so light, and just a hint of butter, not overly greasy, just a light brushing on top. The bacon and egg and cheese sandwich was hearty, the bacon is actually crumbled and cooked into the egg which makes the sandwich stick together so that it doesn't fall apart in a mess. Every bite includes all the fixings, it makes it easy to eat in a clean fashion and enjoy it thoroughly as it's meant to be enjoyed. The staff is friendly and in this COVID environment, quite dedicated to keeping themselves and patrons safe. Masks are required upon entry and only 5 patrons are supposed to be inside the line at a time. They ask you to kindly wait outside once you've ordered, then they bring it outside to you. I appreciated their conscientiousness and diligence.
