Carena's Jamaican Grille

Carena's and Jamaica House are the best Jamaican around!!! Can't advocate for them enough! I haven't found any place that makes Jamaican as good as either of these places (same owner if I remember correctly). All the food is super flavorful, I can never get enough of the rice and peas. The jerk seasoning has a good kick if you don't have a high tolerance, but I'd personally love stuff to be more spicy.

Started with Beef Pattie(aka. flakey phyllo dough stuffed meat pouch). Curry chicken-silky yellow and delicious...Jerk chicken quesadilla was great and jerk pork was unreal(was slightly charred and was more like pork belly with great brown gravy/sauce and the fat was cooked to where it just melted in your mouth)..scotch bonnet hot sauce was a nice addition to the table and cuisine!!

While the food and atmosphere at Carena's Jamaican Grille were incredible, it's worth noting that the takeout queue and limited parking during peak hours can be a bit of a deterrent for those who lack patience. However, I believe that the delicious food is well worth the wait and parking challenge. Overall, I highly recommend Carena's Jamaican Grille to anyone in search of authentic Caribbean cuisine that is sure to transport your taste buds to the islands. The perfectly seasoned oxtail with rice, beans, and cabbage is a must-try, and the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff make for an unforgettable dining experience.
