Ray's Italian Water Ice And Frozen Custard

Ray's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard is one of my favorite ice cream places here in Virginia. There are many flavors and toppings to choose from. The ice cream is tasty and the texture of the custard is buttery soft. In addition, the staff is friendly and quick. It’s important to note the seating is restricted to outside, and there aren’t many seats available. I usually eat my ice cream in the car or take it home. I definitely recommend Ray's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard as it’s delicious!

Frozen custard is super good! So rich and creamy but not too sweet! Priced right. We tried Fresh Strawberry Rockslide. The small size was big enough. I think it's a seasonal flavor. They were busy and we waited for about 10min after we ordered. I think you get it right away if you just order like ice cream cone. But Rockslides are like DQ's Blizzards, so we had to wait. No indoor seating, just some outdoor seating. There were bees and bugs around because of the sweet smell and trash, but it was OK, we ate in the car. They offer pup cups for doggies. I wish they open on the Southside too!
