Tiny Victory

If you like different cuz I like different. Then you would like this Filipino inspired restaurant. My first visit was a few weeks ago. The decor and the ambiance was amazing for a little restaurant like this. I'm 6ft 3 but yet I never felt cramped. My server, I think her name was Devon, took me and my wife through the menu like a tour guide. She explained to me and my wife each dish and its origin. We had a few appetizers. And the main course was fit for 2. This was the first time in many a time I felt like I was not in Richmond. I plan to come back next week when I'm back in town. For anyone out there that likes different Tiny Victory is a place you will enjoy.

First time at Tiny Victory was for dinner last night and it sure did impress! Each dish is super unique and thoughtfully prepared and presented. We did it all family style and enjoyed getting to try so many dishes - all good size portions and felt well worth the cost. Laid back vibe and friendly staff means we will be returning.

Brother and I went late last night. He had the Sisig (Pork cheek and jowel), I had the Flank Steak Special. This small spot on the edge of Jackson Ward had a homey feel to it- funny, considering all food on the menu is heavily Phillipino inspired, it still feels like Richmond. Our meals were deliciously out of our comfort zone. Would recommend trying whatever Special they are slinging- you surely won't be dissapointed. We were told they switch up the menu every few weeks, but that the Sisig is a staple and is the longest running menu item. All food best served with a signature cocktail. The Debt Neglector was something I'll return for on its own.

We just came here for dinner for the first time, and everything was absolutely phenomenal! The pork chops were delicious - tender and wonderfully seasoned. My husband normally does not like pork chops and he was absolutely in love and kept raving about them. The salad was unique and really well balanced in its flavors. It hit just the right spot for a warm summer night, just very refreshing. Everything tasted very fresh. The service was great. We went at 5:30, right when it opened, and it wasn't crowded, though there's not a ton of seating, so I'd probably recommend getting a reservation if you have a larger party. They have several booths and some high tops as seating options. There's also a very social media friendly, colorful mural inside that adds to the character and overall ambience. A really neat little spot that I'd highly recommend visiting at some point.

Unbelievably delicious food, generous portions, incredible ambiance. Very unique flavors; but surprisingly approachable. Tons of gluten free options for half of our group, and vegan and vegetarian options. Our table varied from not very adventurous to very adventurous; and all of us had a delicious meal. Truly a great time, will definitely be coming back here!

This is one of the most unique and charming restaurants we have ever visited. The owners and staff are very attentive, dishes are flavorful and creatively presented. Don't forget to try a couple of their cocktails too. What a great surprise to have stumbled on this little treasure--the Tiny Victory!

This is my absolute favorite bar and restaurant in Richmond! They have some of the best food I’ve ever had. We got the f me up fam special and some of their appetizers and none of it disappointed. My boyfriend is rather picky and he devoured everything that was served. Their cocktails are also amazing. The best drinks I’ve ever had in my life. I highly recommend this place. It’s the absolute best!!!

Tiny Victory has instantly become one of my favorite places in RVA. The first visit was for late night (after 10pm). I wasn't familiar with many of the menu items but the owner and bartender were friendly and gave me the rundown. There are some items for the adventurous eater (me!) and also more approachable items for those a little more apprehensive. Now, after three visits and several different entrees, I can confidently say that everything here is spectacular. My favorite is usually a brothy bowl with ramen or rice noodles and some type of egg (either soft egg or 6minute egg). The flavors are complex, delicious and feel medicinal. I always feel amazing after eating here. I think the name should be "huge victory" because they are certainly winning big in the taste and satisfaction department. Also, if you're looking for tasty and legit cocktails, they have that as well!
