Sheppard Street Tavern

We ate around 1pm on a Saturday and ordered from the Brunch menu. I had the French toast with sausage, and it was delish. The husband had the fried fish sandwich. The fish was very thick and battered/fried to perfection. Good variety of beer choices, something for everyone. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area and looking for quality food, great service, and the Richmond experience.

This is a wonderful little bar. It is exactly what you might expect for a small bar type establishment. The staff has always been a treat. The wings are absolutely on point, and the burgers are right there with it. The only thing I found lacking were the chips. Though that's not to say that my one experience with them wasn't an odd one out. They also have had a notable lack of Guinness, but that's hard to hold against them.

Great bar. Love to go here when I'm just hanging around the area. Definitely maintains a local vibe. Bartenders are all very cool and attentive. Food is surprisingly good for the kind of dive bar feel it has. Has great beer selection and your go-to cheap "tavern" beer . Highly recommended if your looking for a good watering hole
