Purdy's Coffee Company

A wonderful place to eat, caffeinate and get some work done. I had to travel to Richmond for a vet appointment so I took my office with me and set up shop at Purdy’s. I got some drip coffee which was the roast of the day and WOW! It was brewed perfectly. Most people who come to coffee shops look for artisan drinks, but it’s great to have a good drip option. I also had breakfast, a snack and lunch this is my thoughts: For breakfast I had the Farmhouse bagel, it was on a marvelous multi grain bagel with seasoned eggs (nice touch), cheese, bacon & sour cream. It was perfect, only issue was I only had one. For a snack I had a Blueberry muffin. It was good, not great, but I wouldn’t travel here just for a muffin so I won’t hold that against them. For lunch I had the Smokehouse wrap, and this blew me away. Full of pulled chicken, bbq, slaw (not sure if this is house made or bought, but the slaw was ridiculously good). This wrap honestly blew me away. Would have liked to have it be a little larger but I’m also I large guy, it would be plenty for the average person Place is great! Give it a try Only complaint is the lack of chairs with seat backs. I guess college kids like the modern high tops with the Barstools, but for extended stays I was here for over 4hrs, my back couldn’t handle that.

I got an iced mocha and it was great. My toddler however redeemed a free baby Chino and the lady the rang us up didn't seem to like that she got a free drink. Didn't add ice or vanilla to it. my toddler was very disappointed and this was supposed to be her treat for being super brave at her dr and getting shots.

Went here for a quick work lunch with a supplier. The place is very nice and comfortable...we loved the sawn wood tabletops...we ordered chicken wraps that were excellently prepared and delicious, as was the coleslaw that came with it. Good place for a quick lunch or coffee and a snack! The people were very nice as well. This is a must check out place if your in Richmond...we will be back earlier in the day to try the coffee and snacks!
