The Olde Richmond Inn

Unique space for the area, definitely more upscale than the middle of nowhere Indiana would suggest. The prices reflect the aesthetic, and the quality of the food is "almost" completely worth it. I say "almost," because the entrées, all 3 for our party, were excellent. The table breadsticks and typically throw away ceasar salad were also impressively fresh and tasty. But, none of us were happy with the desserts. Across the board they were versions of classic desserts that don't really live up to what you'd expect following the great dinner. My French silk pie was overly dense, more like a cold fudge than a light airy mousse. Apart from that I'd highly recommend this place, and will definitely be back.

The food was good the service left a lot to be desired... we were handed menues and said to find a seat someone will be with you.. service was super slow.. we ordered baked brie and it was cold.. the Waitress yelled down the steps how is it! We were out of drink for most of our meal.. one person brought us coke when we said it was diet she said she would be right back.. she never did come back. I realize everyone is short staffed but the table next to us had exceptional service after the rude hostess set them.

We booked a private room for my mother's 80th birthday and enjoyed great food and drink. Our server Melissa was OUTSTANDING... she was so attentive and friendly! All the staff there(1pm -3 30) were great... even providing a first aid kit after the honor first fell getting out of the car... thanks so much to The Old Richmond Inn

This was my second trip to Old Richmond Inn after a disastrous Valentines Day experience. Unfortunately, though slightly better, it was not good. We waited a very long time to order; I had to go and find the waitress. Our food did not all come out at the same time, some did not get their side dishes until they had finished their entrees. She asked if we wanted Parmesan and then never returned with it. I asked for extra asparagus instead of potato-didn’t get it. And on and on. We had to go and find her to ask for our checks. We sat an interminably long time just waiting. Salad dishes were not cleared, breadsticks not refilled and all the hallmarks of bad service were observed. The worst, however, was when I tried to tell the hostesses about our experience. Rude and condescending is the only way it can be described. For a pleasant dining experience, I suggest you go somewhere else, where the staff is properly trained and customer experience is important to management. . I rated two stars because the food was very good. Kudos to the kitchen.

As usual the food was good. The kitchen was fast! BUT….the service today on the patio was very sub par. Our waitress barely spoke ( only to take the order ), another waitress filled our drink refills. Not a smile and acted like we were imposing on her. When we were done eating my husband had to go ask for the check. We will be back because the food is so good as well as the atmosphere, but I hope not to have the same waitress!

One of the best local places. Great cozy atmosphere. Great menu. So much to choose from. I keep wanting to go back just to try more things. My 7 year old even loves this place. There's something for everyone. Staff is always SUPER friendly. Thank you Chef Galo and all the wonderful staff. You guys are amazing
