Hungry Jack's

Used to favour Hungry Jack's over McDonald's. But last year or so I've had so many poor dining experiences at Hungry Jack's, I only go there if there's no other choice. Burgers we had again were NOT piping hot, straight off the grill with that slightly smoky taste I used to like. What happened to "flame grilled". Cheese hadn't even melted onto the burger, it was only a little warmer than lukewarm. Toilets were dreadful, stained walls, desperately in need of a refurbish and a THOROUGH clean. The Men's STANK of urine, as if the walls had been painted with it. Really gross. Staff were friendly and quick to supply our order. I'd rather wait a few minutes and have a freshly made one. Chips were the same, a few minutes old and a little limp.

Pretty decent vegan burger, but definitely doesn't stack up to a burger containing meat. It had pretty good texture and outward appearance but was lacking a bit in flavour and juiciness. Good customer service and as you would expect from a fast food restaurant, literal fast food. Good seating areas for small groups.

A brilliant restaurant. I very much enjoy eating at this fine establishment. Although I am very sad that they took away the free BBQ Cheeseburgers on the bottom of the receipts, I am pleased that they still have the free refills for all to use. The staff were once friendly, although I think they are a bit sick of me being there and getting free food. Understandable.The 5 for $5.95 deal is spectacular and i hope it stays. The double whopper is a particular standout, a very fine sandwich indeed. The toilets are of a presentable standard for a fast food establishment, considering the standard for fast food joints. The quality of food at this joint is without a doubt the best fast food i have ever had. The food is always well made, and the way they always try to get everyone served and eating as quickly as possible is admirable. The Shake and Win app is also a highlight, and the staff do a good job in preparing that food. One last comment, the cleanliness of the store is utterly fantastic. It is always in prime condition, and the staff do a great job in keeping it this way. All in all a very good store that I go back to regularly. Keep up the good work.

Really good stuff. Compared to the Hungry Jacks I tried in Spencer Street everything was really fresh and well prepared. Burger was vibrant and substantial, chips were crisp and salted just the right amount. Service was friendly and fast, place was perfectly clean. The quality of the food exceeded my expectations. Maybe it was good timing, it was fairly quiet when I was there. Would recommend though. My only gripe would be they didn't have all of the prices on display, but of course you can just ask if you need them. 5 stars.

Have been eating at this store for many years, the burgers are always fresh and huge, my grandchildren love coming here and playing on the playground, and once again I have had a meal at this store, and it was super yummy!!! 14/10/19 NEW REVIEW........ I once again went to this hungry jacks to try the new vegan Rebel whopper, the tomato, onion, lettuce, cheese was fantastic, however the actual burger was bone dry, and tasted nothing like meat, I would have been better off just chewing on a piece of dry cardboard, I will continue to eat at this store, but no more vegan burgers for me, I'll stick to the real thing

There was miscommunication with my order in regards to Rebel whopper and the regular whopper (definitely need to call the rebel whopper something else, as it definitely is easy to confuse the vegetarian burger with the meat burger). I presume it was the manger I spoke with, dealt with the issue Efficiently and replaced my order with no hassle. Disappointed I ate some meat after months of being meat free, but I’ll live.
