I give them 4.5 stars. I like this place. It's a little different than the typical Mexican restaurant. I have been here many times. The service is typically fast and professional. The food tastes good too. The prices are somewhat higher and the portions seem to be slightly smaller. If you go normally for a large amount of food, then ask for a to go box, you be disappointed. They have a great variety of food you don't get in other places.

Great selection of good food great atmosphere and great service if i had to complain about anything it would be the thin chips but everyrhing was outstanding they even plated my food, simple but i never had a meal plated at other mexican restaurants and now i fear i will expect it now lol.

This is a nice restaurant with regular seating as well as a bar area. The setting is beautiful, the staff is attentive, and the food is very good. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes authentic Mexican and Tex Mex food. It seems to be a little pricier than other local Mexican restaurants, but it also seems as though more money went into building and decorating the restaurant.

Had a great time with my family at Abuelo's. I had a delicious Fajita combo with well done steak and bbq shrimp. We were full from dinner so we ordered cake to go and enjoyed that later.

Food was awesome. Sat at the bar and the bartender was polite helpful and very attentive. Glass was never empty wish I could say the same about my plate. Unfortunately wasn't able to finish the combination fajitas, but loved trying. Would definitely recommend.

Food + service here is always great and has to be one of the best places for Tex Mex, not only Roanoke but Myrtle Beach too.
My daughter even dropped her “kid’s quesadilla” on the floor and the waiter brought out an additional one. How awesome was that.
Pro tip: Switch out your rice or beans for the “papas”. You won’t be disappointed!

Absolutely amazing food . The best I have ever tasted . And the waitress Jessica was very pleasant and friendly .. Highly recommend eating here .

Really nice and elegant Mexican spot. Ideal to go with family and friends to have nice and fresh Mexican-TexMex food. Dishes could improve being more "real" Mexican. Service is great!. Price are affordable but not cheap.
